Project Needs and Beneficiaries

The county of Pomorze (ECO’s location) suffers from huge unemployment. The “School of Life” will provide training and employment, and it will become an attractive center for those who would like to see traditional methods used for drying up and processing herbs and fruit in Poland. The produce itself will become an attractive offer both in domestic and foreign markets. About 1,000 people from the district—both consumers and people employed by ECO—will benefit from the project.

Activities

To spread traditional methods of drying and processing fruit and herbs; to create jobs for 15 people; to continue protecting biodiversity (through traditional processing of fruit); to cooperate with the local council and farming community
