Project Needs and Beneficiaries

1)Dalit communities have been denied access to technical & vocational skills, resources & knowledge pertaining to their role in livestock production.2)Dalit communities are exposed to numerous zoonotic diseases such as Anthrax , in their work of carcass disposal, which are a major threat to their lives. There is great need to document this info. in-depth & provide necessary support to Dalit comunities. Beneficiaries include Dalit men & women from 3 districts of Andhra Pradesh & Maharashtra.

Training and capacity building, developing a database of zoonotic diseases the Dalit are exposed to advocacy with government
