More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesGiven Venezuela's poverty, unemployment and the lack of both data in terms of the epidemic and prevention campaigns, the business sector can become a vital means to bring education to families and communities through the work force. In turn, education in the work place can contribute to prevent discrimination and stigma and to promote practices of support for employees and members of their families who live with HIV. ActivitiesIdentify and select 10 participating companies, present the program & create the in-company supervising committee, select leaders within the work force, design & communicate the policy, train the leaders & bring HIV/AIDS education to the work force.
