Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Chipo Chedu is targeting the whole population of Zimbabwe with a specific thrust towards the 5% of the population, childless women. (5% of 12 million = 600 000 women). These are disadvantaged/marginalized persons. Chipo Chedu Trust seeks to address the problem & change the behaviour/attitude of 12 million people towards childless people. The behaviour contributes to breaking of many childless homes/ marriages, resulting in health problems. Presently in 21/58 districts, leaving 37 to go.

Activities

Carry out discussions, distribute leaflets, mount exhibitions to effectively create awareness of childless situations; Advocate on behalf of childless and provide structured counseling; Maintain info and networking in Zimbabwe
