Expanding care to people living with HIV/AIDS
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe motivation for this initiative comes from the large number of persons infected with HIV who come for counseling at the organization's center. Many of them require admission into hospital or care at home with compassionate psycho-social support as they face stigma, discrimination and violation of their rights. The project will deal with families and children affected by HIV/AIDS, helping to build their capacities for facing the challenges. ActivitiesDevelop a comprehensive continuum of care for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Provide counsel and basic clinical care to improve psychological and physical well being. Provide ncome generation opportunities for those who need urgent financial support.
