Mission

EVI supports the development of sustainable communities and livelihoods. Our mission is to inspire, connect, mentor, and train community members to develop as committed practitioners, entrepreneurs, and ambassadors of sustainable development. We work with local partners to deliver environmental enterprise dialogues, trainings, and study tours; facilitate collaborative action projects; and establish community networks for environmental enterprise development.

Personnel Overview

Eustard Rwegoshora - Coordinator, Lushoto Youth Development Network
Originally from Kagera region, Mr. Rwegoshora began his career as a trainer-of-trainers for the Prime Education Network. He moved on to work as an officer for the Lushoto Business Incubation Program, but his interest in youth and education remained. In 2005 he began the Lushoto Youth Development Network to help provide economic opportunities and vocational training for jobless youth.

Megan Hill - Program Coordinator, EcoVentures International
Megan has been working with EVI partners in the Environmental Enterprise Development Initiative since early 2006 and has assisted and facilitated the development and/or management of numerous collaborative projects in Tanzania, including business training, environmental enterprise development, and most recently biomass briquetting throughout East Africa.
