More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
Malaria No More asks the public to join the fight against malaria. One of the worlds great paradoxes, malaria, was eradicated in many parts of the world during the last century, but its devastating toll has doubled in the worlds poorest communities. In Africa, it takes the lives of nearly 1 million people annually and it is the number one killer of children. We ask people to contribute funds for the purchase and transport of insecticide treated bed nets and the education to use them.
Activities
We work with national and international partners on targeted bed net distribution programs in Africa. Malaria No Mores targeted involvement will increase the impact of and ensure greater success for comprehensive national malaria control plans.
