More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
Today most people feel bewildered by ecological decline and climate changes complexities because they lack the resources, models and connections to make meaningful change. To encourage daily actions that support green development, vibrant communities and biodiversity worldwide, Green Maps have guided users to local sites, pathways and resources for sustainable living since 1995. Our adaptable tools bring everyday solutions to light for people in 425 communities in 38 US states and 50 countries.
Activities
We provide tools, universal icons, guidance, multilingual websites and workshops to a growing movement. Thousands of Green Mapped sites will merge into an open interactive global map in 2008, vastly increasing our impact. Think Global, Map Local!
