More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Young people in Argentina cover only the 17% of the total population. 13% of young people between the ages of 20 and 24 are heads of their households and 26% is unemployed and 15% does not pursue higher education. Youth is seen as vulnerable, and frequently is a subject of repression. YV supports young people to generate solutions to social problems, by helping them lead and launch their own venture. We are gradually contributing to change the negative image that society has of young people.

Activities

YV supports youth by helping them address social issues in their communities. Youth form teams and create sustainable action plans that must be approved by a panel. Then, they receive seed money and technical support to start their Venture Team.
