Project Needs and Beneficiaries

The sexual violence in the Congo is now the worst in the world. Girls as young as five, and women as old as eighty are subjected to rape everyday. Those who survive the attacks will be affected by the physical and psychological effects throughout their lifetime. Lucienne, who is a rape survivor, is rebuilding her life thanks to Women for Women International. Through our programs, we help women survivors of war like Lucienne not just to live, but to thrive.
