More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Several thousand families are dependent on their livelihoods of brick making where productivity and income is very low. This forces the families to take huge loans and pledge the labour of their family members, including children. The brick making is a manual process. Through a brick making machine which is being developed by CIWCE, we intend to empower these families. This machine will enhance the income of the families and free the children for schooling.

Activities

By provision of brick making machine to the brick making families we intend to improve their income, enhance productivity and free them from the debts they incur due to low income from slow work that they do through manual brick making.
