Teaching a Workshop on Health & Wellbeing

KASI's secretary, Faustina, is active in educating her disabled peers about health and wellness. At a recent training camp for new wheelchair users she spoke to them about her own experiences and gave them tips and tools to maintain their own well-being.

This group of disabled people have recently received wheelchairs and are attending a week-long training camp to learn how to best take care of themselves.

Dye and Batik Program

This program aims to reduce the poverty of people with spinal cord injuries by creating sustainable livelihoods. The projects supports the establishing and equipping of an accessible workshop for disabled entrepreneurs to produce goods for sale. In this picture, KASI members are learning the batik dying process.
