More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThis project addresses the problem of crime, prostitution and gives an opportunity to women to become financially independent in the city of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. If we provide training sessions free of cost, women will be encouraged to at least try and hence find safer work opportunities ActivitiesThe Women's Vocational Center provides women with vocational training such as tailoring, embroidery, cosmetology and elementary education. The center offers free training sessions to women and lately WVC has also realized the need to provide these wo Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $150 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available. Donors' contributions and pledges to this project totaled $150. The original project funding goal was $12,500.
