Better World

Mission

Initiated in 2003 and formally established in 2007 in Egypt, Better World aims to prepare the young people of Egypt for success in the modern professional world through development of technological literacy, life, occupational skills, and by providing ongoing employment support. The International Center for Technology (ICT) offers 27 free courses to underprivileged Egyptian college students and recent graduates in a variety of subjects like 6 language courses, computer classes and other topics

Programs

Under Better World, the International Center for Technolgy (ICT) was established to serve three goals : First is providing language and computer skills ( 6 languages by native speakers and 27 computer courses), second is the life skill education program through series of lectures and seminars on all kinds of topics. Third is the employment support program through connecting graduates of ICT to the real work field so they can earn their living by themselves.

Hany Amin - Founder
I was selected as an Ambassador Rotary Scholar from district 2450, the only one representing nine countries from the Middle East, and studied in Montreal where I engaged in several community projects run by organizations from Rotary to the United Nations. I felt that I had a commitment not only to represent my country, but also to bring back ideas with which to help my nation.

Fady Sedny - Facilitator
Fady has a bachelor in mechatronics Engineering and strong background in using technology especially computers. he has worked and been trained in several universities and training centers that will make him able to guide our computer training program

Ramy Samy - Senior Coordinator
Ramy is a medical student at his final year and he has a strong organizational skills back ground which will help us oganizing all our short and long term plans, this is besides the seminar that he is taking care of regarding health issues
