People are mostly poor even by Bangladeshi standards – household income is below the national average of $150/month. High prevalence of water-borne disease causes vulnerability to frequent ailments year-round. ActivitiesThis three-year project will benefit 5,550 people by providing: *45 new water points. *Repairs or re-construction of 111 existing water points. *Sanitary facilities at key locations. *Community-organizing and hygiene education.
