Share & SaveMore Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesLess than 50% of women 14-19 receive reproductive health services and education. In California, women of color, immigrant women and working class women in particular are hit the hardest. With limited access to reproductive health services, many lack the resources and knowledge needed to feel comfortable with their sexuality and make healthy decision about their sexual activity. ActivitiesThis program uses cross learning through Women-centered exercises, women run clinic tours and consciousness-raising. ResourcesWhy this Project is ImportantPotential Long Term ImpactSessions will have 10 participants, ages 13-19. The newly graduated participants provide positive word-of-mouth to their friends and family, creating a referral network while building leaders trained in reproductive health education.
