More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Clearly, the folks who benefit are the 130 children who use this kindergarten & their families. Their school, homes, mosque, medical center are under threat of demolition. This is not about security- the village is far from borders and settlements. It is slated to be demolished for lack of unattainable building permits. International concern at both grassroots & diplomatic levels keeps their village standing, pressing for Israeli acceptance of the village’s master land-use plan.

Activities

Coordinate U.S. speaking tour with mayor (in wheelchair) and Israeli architect to visit Congress, U.N., churches, mosques, synagogues. Update the 17 countries, UN, NGO’s that invested in village and speak for it. Conduct Contact Congress telecons.
