Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa
Mission
FTTSA is an independent non-profit initiative that targets established tourism businesses and emerging tourism establishments, including community-based projects and entrepreneurs previously excluded from the formal economy. FTTSA can help these tourism establishments benefit from a "stamp of approval" and related marketing opportunities, and from knowing that they are contributing to socio-economic change in South Africa.
Programs
To reach our objectives, we do the following: marketing, awareness raising, product acquisition, certification, support to Trademark users, institutionalisation of FTTSA, research and advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, and project management.
