More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe Afro-Colombian women living in Aguablanca, the poorest and most excluded area of Cali, are heavily affected by unemployment (28%). Mostly impoverished single mothers, they are unemployed and discriminated against for their ethnic background. We aim to incubate small solitary enterprises from the business ideas of these women, and to transfer business knowledge and contacts from the formal business sector through coaching and support to these enterprises. ActivitiesTo create a network of Solidary Popular Enterprises & to introduce them to the formal business sector as strategic partners, and to provide SPEs with administrative, financial & technological aid through a Shared Services Unit.
