Mission

To strengthen the skills, capacities, and effectiveness of Peasant Farmer organizations in north central Haiti. To enable these organizations to analyze their situations, make apppropriate decisions aimed at providing basic services to their communities, and to undertake sustainable self-help programs in different fields like agriculture, health, and economic activities.

Programs

The Training Development Unit (TDU) collaborates with a variety of local organizations in different areas in the country. All those areas are in some way marginalized and environmentally eroded. The agricultural production is low and farmers cannot produce enough to feed their family. VMA has its own project in the very dry Moulin area, where its own staff works directly with farmers.
