Mission

The Association members works together in partnership to undertake projects including community organization, awareness building, savings and credit, Dry land Agriculture & Horticulture, Organic Farming, Waste land development, Agro forestry, Animal Health activities, Reproductive Health & Community Water Supply, Women Empowerment Programme, and all types of Education & Capacity Building programmes for the overall development and upliftment of un-organized marginalized communities.

Programs

NAID is an association of non-govermental organizations working together with a similar mission and methodology, and a common core of activities. Other program activities include reproductive and community health, family planning, literacy, youth employment, watershed and environment management, and income generation projects.

Personnel Overview

Subbanna Biradar - Director, BSRDS
A graduate in Economics, Subbanna Biradar is the founder of the Bayalu Seeme Rural Development Society (BSRDS), a member of the NAID-India Association. For over 10 years, he has partnered with World Neighbors to implement a sustainable agriculture program in Gulburga District, where 85% of the people are small farmers. He is married with 3 children.

B. M. Goudati - Director, Rural Development Society (RDS)
Mr. Goudati has 24 years field experience. He oversees planning, implementing, program monitoring and evaluation and fund raising for RDS, based in Murgod, Belgaum District. He is a member of NAID-India Association, and has partnered with World Neighbors to support sustainable agriculture in his district for 15 years. He is a graduate in the Arts, but his passion is rural development.

S.C Bankapur - Director, SSV
With 19 years experience in rural development, S.C Bankapur is Director of Shri Sharada Vidyalaya (SSV) based in Guledgudda, Bagalkot District. He has a post-graduate Arts degree. Now 50 years old, he is a founding member of the NAID-India Association and works with World Neighbors to promote sustainable agriculture for low-caste marginalized farmers.
