Contribute to the improvement of quality, reach, efficiency and sustainability of rural and urban basic education through the design of dynamic infrastructures that ensure successful and consistent implementaion of the Escuela Nueva system, mainly in developing countries and promoting private-public alliances.

Vicky Colbert - Executive Director
Sociology backgrounds grounded her understanding of the needs of children and the role of education in developing human potential. In 1975 she crafted a new educational model that changed education for poor, rural children: Escuela Nueva. Expanded & sustained this proven education innovation from different spheres; ViceMinister of Education, Unicef´s Education Adviser for LAC and civil society.

Carmen E. Pérez - Technical Sub Director
Long time expert in the design and carry out of education programs and projects in Colombia, Brazil and Africa. 10year experience in Colombia’s Ministry of Education as Curriculum, Training and Teaching Materials Director; she promoted important education reforms for increasing coverage and quality in basic education: curricular orientation, definition of quality standards & teacher training.
