Life in Africa Foundation
Mission
The Life in Africa Foundation is dedicated to using the Internet in unique ways to pursue 3 inter-related objectives: 1. To improve the quality of life in Africa by promoting and creating opportunities for Africans to help themselves; 2. To support innovation in the delivery of micro-financial services and other resources for local development to those who need them; 3. To promote increased international understanding of African people, and the realities of contemporary life and living in Africa
Programs
Internet4Change is one of several pioneering Programs developed by Life in Africa, which together form the new “LiA Network for Webbed Empowerment.” The LiA Network introduces innovations in using the Internet, to enhance and invite global participation in some of Africa’s most effective community development initiatives. The Internet4Change program, including i4c Magazine, encourages African participation in building and using an online superstore of resources for local empowerment.
