Educating towards Freedom
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesOne of the major problems of the prisons is the high rate of inmates who upon their release go back to delinquent activities (85%). This phenomenon occurs mainly because of two reasons: Human degradation that is generated during the imprisonment term; & lack of having an integral policy for inmates reincorporation into society; one where the inmate his or her family, & society in general are involved. The beneficiaries of this project are the inmates that are soon to be released. ActivitiesThe project will be developed in 6 stages: 1) Selection: Helps the beneficiaries focus, 2)Formation: Beneficiaries elaborate their life plan, 3) Training: Human, technical, and academic tools, 4) Production: Application of the acquired knowledge.
