GRIOT: Qualifying teachers for the cultural divers
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesIn what refers to the educational politics developed in the Quilombolas communities, the teachers performance has not been considering the history and culture the students identity with resulting in a low quality education. In order to transform this reality a politic of teacher’s qualification is necessary that contemplates those communities ethnic and cultural subjects with contents and didactic materials where the children are recognized promoting the success and permanence in the school. ActivitiesDevelop modular course about History of the black people in Africa & in Brazil; workshops of production of didactic materials; carry out periodic meetings with technicians, teachers and parents; advice, monitor and systematic evaluation.
