More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesWork opportunities are few due to chronic poverty and automation of the remaining work places. Target population does not meet employment criteria because of little formal education, computer illiteracy and lack of job skills. A culture of dependency and powerlessness is prevalent. They are young adults, male and female, over 14 years old, including persons with disabilities who scored high in the Participation Scale (measures social participation restrictions according to WHO ICF 2001). ActivitiesThe Entrepreneurial Training Program is composed of three main activities that build personal skills among participants to become financially independent.
