Mission

To promote and protect the rights of the vulnerable and marginalised through community empowerment, action oriented research,policy dialogue and legal aid in Uganda.

Personnel Overview

Lilian Keene-Mugerwa - Executive Director
Lilian is an Ashoka fellow and holds a Bachelors Degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Governance and Development. She holds a wealth of experience in project design and management, training and administration. Lilian is an advocate for gender, labourr and human rights and has led assignments for international agencies and implemented programs in support of vulnerable women and children.

Jacquelyn Kia - Program Officer
Jacquelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences and a Diploma in Education. She has experience in promote their livelihood security and human rights for displaced families. She was responsible for Identifying, counseling and distributing non-food items to vulnerable families in the camps. She is experienced in participatory community empowerment and entrepreneurial skills development.

Carol Achan - Community mobiliser
Carol is a qualified nursing assistant experienced in Voluntary Counseling and Testing for HIV/AIDS, community mobilization and behavioral change campaigns for children and youth affected by war. She has counseled fellow peers on coping with effects of the war and encourgaes them to go to school.
