More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

The poor are most economically vulnerable to life's uncertainties. They cannot afford medical care and do not have an old-age pension. This leads them to adopt unlawful means of getting money. The project aims to give them medical insurance, create a fund for their old-age pension, and motivate them to contribute positively to society. The nonformal education is aimed at children from extremely poor families in urban slums who do not go to school.

Activities

Vocational training to poor families, creating opportunities for self-employment; establishing a social security system that provides them life and health insurance and an old-age pension; education for children, providing future job opportunities.
