Mission

1)Promote, and allow people to know and respect women’s rights in cities as well as in villages, whether those women have education or are earning money or not. 2) fight against any type of violence and discrimination based on tradition, civil laws or religion, in order to protect human rights. 3) organize solidarity among women.

Programs

1) Since 1994, we increase public awareness with the media on women’s rights and on violence against women. 2) Campaign against female genital mutilation, early arranged marriage from 1996 to 1998; as a result an act of parliament exists concerning these two types of violence. 3) Re-opening of a shelter for grief-stricken women and young ladies.
