More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesIn Uruguay and Brazil, more than 60% of young people live in poverty, burdened with social stigma. Our main target population is at-risk adolescents who are without access to social and cultural goods, and are dealing with domestic violence, unwanted pregnancies and drug abuse. The project would benefit over 1,000 poor youngsters from 4 cities of Brazil and Uruguay. We give poor young people means to express their needs, develop their abilities and make their own contribution to society. ActivitiesWeekly training meetings, developing project content and technical tools, with adolescents. At the community level: thematic activities, solutions addressing specific needs.
