Computer Education to the Rural Poor Children
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesIn Rural Areas of India due to the following problems, it is not feasible to provide computer education in these areas. (1) Lack of Infrastructure (Building , furniture and Computing Resourses). (2) Poor Power Supply (3) Lack of Skilled Man-Power. The Project will benefit students, farmers and civilians to gain computer literacy and knowledge. ActivitiesProject Implementation will include: (1) Building and Lab Infrastructure Establishment. (2) Computers with 12 Volt Power Supply to Over Come Power Supply Problem by using Power Batteries chargeable with Solar Energy. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $1,840 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available. Donors' contributions and pledges to this project totaled $1,840. The original project funding goal was $5,000.
