Equal Access

Mission

Equal Access creates positive social change for large numbers of people in the developing world by providing access to critically needed information and education through effective partnerships and community engagement, locally produced and targeted content, and the use of appropriate and cost-effective technology.

Programs

Equal Access has radio and outreach programs in Nepal, Afghanistan & India. In Nepal, 10 programs provide millions of listeners with info. on subjects such as women’s empowerment, HIV/AIDS & human rights. Trained local peer educators lead discussion groups to further the impact of the information. In Afghanistan, 3.8 million rural Afghans can tune into a language service to listen to programs on agriculture, civic education, elections, landmine awareness and counter-narcotics.

Ronni Goldfarb - Executive Director
Ronni Goldfarb, Founder and Executive Director of Equal Access, launched the Equal Access Development Channel with the UN Development Programme. As a Strategic Communications and Business Development Consultant for 16 years, Ronni created communications initiatives for Fortune 500 Corporations and the United Nations including the Beijing Conference on Women and the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro.
