More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesMore than 100 students, from 8 to 20 years of age, study voice, the recorder, violin, viola, and cello. All classes are free as students come from families earning less USD$100 per month. The program needs donations in order to buy instruments and instruction materials, cover operational costs and expand the program to reach more children. ActivitiesKids receive two 1-hour lessons per week and participate in a rehearsal on Saturdays. Introduction to music and score reading, instrument instruction and singing and voice, playful activities, perform at schools, theaters, cultural centers, etc. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $470 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available. Donors' contributions and pledges to this project totaled $470. The original project funding goal was $10,321.
