More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesThe government has temporarily banned fishing in this area so residents need food aid and basic supplies to provide for their families. ActivitiesTeams will provide emergency food rations, blankets, and sheets for victims of the tsunami. In addition they will assist with evacuation efforts and repairing the nets and boats of villagers who rely on fishing for subsistence. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $2,775 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available. Donors' contributions and pledges to this project totaled $2,775. The original project funding goal was $25,000.
