Food and Supplies for 13 Coastal Villages
More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesFisherman communities living on the coast were the worst hit by the tsunami in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Relief camps and temporary structures have been constructed, but their 2000+ residents need food, medicine, and other basic supplies. ActivitiesPacks of supplies will be distributed to evacuees living in temporary camps. Some packs include basic items like bread, water, and candles, while others are for special needs populations and include milk powder, bottles, and medicines. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $2,598 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available. Donors' contributions and pledges to this project totaled $2,598. The original project funding goal was $45,000.
