More Information About this Project

Project Needs and Beneficiaries

Fishermen account for 90% of those affected by the Tsunami in India. With their boats and nets destroyed, their source of income has stopped and their debts are mounting. If they are given boats and nets, they will be able to help themselves.

Activities

Sponsor a fishing boat and nets for $360. Each boat provides food and income for 4-5 Indian families who have suffered since the tsunami hit.

This project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available.
