Autumn 2007 Update Summary

By Laurie Werner - Program Director, January 25, 2008 03:12 PM

This update provides a summary of impact the Noemi Fund has made in 34 communities throughout Central America and Mexico. Without the Noemi Fund, land would not be purchased and these villages would not be established.

Contributions to the Noemí Fund facilitate an ongoing credit fund to support the initial costs of land, housing and irrigation. Noemí Fund investments in small farming communities allow the villagers to work toward sustainability, reaching a point where they can pay back their loans while supporting their families. Donations from churches, businesses, foundations and individuals cover the costs of agricultural assistance, health care, education, community development and other programs.
