All teachers in AIL's boys classes receive regular training, monitoring, and supervision from AIL managers and teacher trainers. They all learn how to use interactive, student-centered teaching methods which greatly improve the quality of their classes and accelerate student learning.

These older rural boys are thankful for this opportunity to come to school. These boys have not had an opportunity to learn before and now are too old to begin government schools in grade one. AIL's Educational Learning Centers are an ideal fit for their educational needs.
Advanced Class Students
These boys are studying in advanced math, science, and language classes through AIL's boys education program in Mir Bacha Kot, a rural area of Kabul province in Afghanistan.
Darb-e-Iraq Learning Center
Boys and girls study together in AIL's Darb-e-Iraq Educational Learning Center in Herat Province, Afghanistan. Some boys classes are co-educational depending on the preference of the community.
