Project Needs and Beneficiaries

AfricAid is dedicated to the belief that we in the United States have an increasing responsibility to help build a culture of service learning and activities among the youth of America. This program encourages both individual and group involvement in our community and in our world, and helps teach children the value and satisfaction that comes from developing lifelong habits of serving, giving, & caring. This program will serve hundreds of American students, and thousands of Tanzanian students.

Activities

This project will provide the curriculum materials needed (books, videos, & literature) to implement global service learning in classrooms across the US. American students will learn the value of reaching out to their peers around the world.
