EMI's mission is to mobilize design professionals who donate their skills to help children and families around the world step out of poverty and into a world of hope. We help others change their world through the development of hospitals, schools, orphanages, bridges, water supplies, electricity and more. EMI designs facilities for international and indigenous organizations, helping them fulfill their visions. Our commitment is to enrich the lives of those who give and of those who receive.

Gary MacPhee - Vice President, Ministry Development
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Gary earned his architecture degree at the University of Buffalo where he served as Manager of Architectural Services for 13 years. During that time he also started his own consulting company before joining eMi in 1997. He is a registered architect in New York and Colorado. Gary has led over 25 volunteer teams in two dozen different countries.
