Project Needs and Beneficiaries
The civil war in Sierra Leone has left many villages totally disrupted. Social structures are broken and traditions lost. The devastated communities are primarily focused on rebuilding their villages. The problems of the children play a subordinate part. War Child helps communities to handle these problems through community based programmes.
Activities
These child friendly places are a save haven for children to play in. Playing together creates mutual understanding. By bringing children together, we encourage a peaceful society in Sierra Leone.
