Mission
To create a child labour free society where all children receive free and quality education. Bal Ashram believes that systemic change can only be achieved when the victims themselves become the change agents against the exploitation and abuse that they have suffered.
Programs
Bal Ashram as a transitory rehabilitation center for the rescued child labourers empowers them, provides education and vocational training helping them to become self-supportive, confident and emerge as change agents. Bal Ashram has a multiplicative role to play in the society, of providing an enabling environment to rescued children from exploitative situations and worst forms of labor, generating awareness in the source community and promoting the replication of these efforts.
