Project Needs and Beneficiaries
The sports-playing, underprivileged youth in the district of El Carmen, in Chincha, do not have a medium of communication for expressing their worries and needs. The Sports and Life school, which fuses sports activities with cultural activities, music, singing, traditional dance, and life-skills training, needs a medium of communication to improve their program. Direct beneficiaries are 50 children; and indirect beneficiaries are the 2,000 villagers from El Carmen, Chincha.
Activities
Activities: 1. Installation of FM transmitter; 2. Organization of a network for collection of information; 3. Production of radio programming; 4. Radio-usage training programs for youth.
