Girls housing!

By Jaya Canterbury-Counts - Project Sponsor, August 28, 2007 05:13 PM

One hundred and eighteen girls are now living in the new dormitory! They have a bath and toilet block nearby that includes running water and flushing toilets! The cement factory is still across the road but the girls are more secure and safe now. Everyone is so grateful for the generosity of all the donors who have made this possible.
Thank you.

Update from Uganda project

By Jaya Canterbury Counts - Project Sponsor, April 06, 2007 03:06 PM

Picture of girls dormitory in Uganda
The goal of this project was to build a new, safe girls dormitory for the school in Uganda and it's done! This project has been wildly successful and we are very proud. We continue to accept 2 girls to every boy at the school. We are still near an industrial site but the girls are more secure and safe now.

Next week we will post more information, and below is a picture of the dormitory. Thanks so much for your support of this important project!
