More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
Children from indigenous rural villages are being increasingly left behind by main stream schooling as their families cannot afford the materials or transport. This leaves them without the opportunities that every child deserves. As well as following the national curriculum, students will be taught practical vocational skills that will aid them to gain employment upon graduation. This solution provides a huge impact as it provides for many more than scholarships alone can.
Activities
By providing free schooling and vocational skills we can ensure these indigenous communities get the same opportunities as everyone else. With very small contributions from families and graduates, the school will then become sustainable.

Why this Project is Important
Potential Long Term Impact
Over the years this school will teach thousands. Because it will be run and funded by local communities in the future, it wil also foster strong communities and ensure the indigenous popluations are not swallowed up by development and ruralisation.
Project Message
These days, primary education isn't enough, secondary education is key and providing these children with this opportunity shines a strong light on their future.
