More Information About this Project
Project Needs and Beneficiaries
The current school roof leaks during the winter months when the majority of precipitation falls in this region. This roof in the village affects approximately 60 children. The windows are currently broken and need repair to block out the cold winter winds. Most children do not have paper or pencils for basic writing. Half of the families in the village of Taghia use the grazing trails to move their animals seasonally. Recently there was a fatality on one of these trails.
Activities
Replace roof with new gable metal roof, replace windows to hold in heat and block cold winds, purchase supplies for approximately 60 children, install safety handrails in several section of very dangerous trail used for grazing.
