Project Needs and Beneficiaries
Women are generally overlooked in Sierra Leone, with girls’ and women’s education being a low priority for families. As a result, little economic, social or political opportunity is available to them, giving them no avenue for participation in civil society. This education fund will supplement the tuition costs of girls and women seeking to finish their secondary schooling and pursue post-secondary education opportunities, preparing them for to contribute to their nation’s development.
Activities
This project will support women’s efforts to improve their skills and further their education by supplementing their tuition costs.
