Mission
DCBF is a US 501 c3 nonprofit charitable supporting organization and a Brazilian NGO dedicated to aiding street children and impoverished youth in Brazil. We work in partnership with local organizations and NGO's to provide: education, moral and social development, humanitarian relief, and the offering of opportunities where there were none before.

Carol Senna Figueiredo - Programs Director Dreams Can Be Foundation
Carol Senna Figueiredo joined Dreams Can Be in December 2003 as our Programs Liaison. Carol is a graduate of UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) with a degree in Social Science. Carol is responsible for regular communication between the programs that DCBF supports and our staff.
Wilton Moreno - Founder & Director
While just a citizen of his favela community- Anchieta, in 2001, still working fulltime as a security guard. Moreno observed the neighborhood children hanging around without organized activities. This worried him; a lack of activities could lead to delinquent behaviors and wasted futures. He started the project using his vacation salary. Today his program serves 150 kids and their families.
