Mission
The Citizens Foundation’s (TCF) mission is to promote mass-scale quality education in Pakistan at the primary and secondary levels in an environment that encourages intellectual, moral and spiritual growth. The aim of the TCF education program is to equip less-privileged children with knowledge and literacy skills, to inculcate in them high moral values and the confidence to strive for their goals.

Personnel Overview
Lt. Gen. (R) S.P. Shahid - Chief Executive Officer
Lt. Gen. (R) S.P. Shahid earned commission with top honors from Pakistan Military Academy in Oct 1969. After retiring as a Corps Commander upon completing 36 years of commissioned service, he joined TCF in 2005 as the Chief Executive Officer. Since joining, he has worked tirelessly in promoting TCF’s mission of providing quality education to underprivileged children in Pakistan
Brigadier (R) Syed Muhammad Arif - Chief Operating Officer
Brig. Arif joined as Regional Manager (South) and became COO in July, 2006. He holds vast experience in working with government officials as well as individuals representing national and international organizations and holds exceptional human resource management and administration skills. Since joining TCF he has expertly overseen construction and administration of TCF schools throughout Pakistan.
Farhat Iqbal - Head of Education
Farhat Iqbal, a new addition to TCF has had a long and rich career as an educator and education administrator at one of the most prestigious chains of private schools in the country. In her 17 years of association with The City Schools she held positions of Asst. Regional Director, Senior Project Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, Head Mistress and Senior Mistress as well as teacher.
