Mission
Pet-A-Medic serves its community (Los Angeles county) as a free emergency transport service for pets and strays in life-threatening situations and by offering a free 24-hour telephone hotline to help people through administering critical care to animals in an emergency. We "give animals a fighting chance" at their most vulnerable moments.
Programs
In addition to our ambulatory response team, currently all volunteer, Pet-A-Medic also operates a 24-hour help line which can help people when their animals are in crisis by helping them identify the problem, and walk them through possible solutions. We also present CPR training events and educational forums, and offer the "Pet-A-Medic Club Card" to people who join on our website; the card offers discounts on various pet-related products and services.

Personnel Overview
Anthony Nuncio - Founder and President, Pet-A-Medic
Anthony Nuncio grew up in Denver, CO and has lived in Southern California since 1988. He served in the U.S. Army (1978-1980), and in the reserve unit of the Army National Guard. He studied business and engineering at Glendale Community College, and has had a passion for animals since childhood. Currently, he lives in Burbank, CA with his fiance Carly, pit-boxer mix Lola, and chocolate lab Henry.
Laura Grover - Volunteer, Consultant
Laura Grover is a consultant, project director, writing and marketing/communications professional working with entertainment, literary, and culinary clients. She grew up in New Jersey, attended Brown University, and has lived in L.A. for 20 years. Laura and her daughter Esther Rose were very grateful when Pet-A-Medic helped in the return of their lost rescue dog Snoopygirl, a poodle/Wheaten mix
